Synopsis

Comic adaptation of the popular PSP game *Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan*! Mahjong × Higurashi, a new “fragment” begins here. In June 1983, Keiichi Maebara moves to the village of Hinamizawa and enjoys peaceful days with his friends. Then he discovers mahjong—and quickly becomes captivated by it. But as a string of mysterious deaths grips the village and he suffers repeated losses at the table, doubt begins to gnaw at his heart. Are these defeats the result of conspiracy, coincidence… or a curse? From the moment he took the tiles into his hands, his quiet life began to unravel. Mahjong is a game that breeds suspicion.
